My name is Stephanie Feldstein and I am, among
other things, a writer at work on my first novel.
Like many people, I find my pets to be hilarious,
inspiring, poignant, and all those other things that
make domestic animals – and good books –
irresistible. My four-legged muses have been by
my side as I’ve crafted poetry (both the kind that
has won awards and the kind that eternally lives
in the back of the drawer), and they’ve continued
their style of helping as I embark on my
adventure as a novelist.
I’m not sure I’d classify my fiction as the next
Great American Novel. While I do hope people
think it’s great and I am an American, my book
isn’t exactly in the tradition of Steinbeck or
Fitzgerald. It’s more like the novel that whoever
walked those guys’ dogs would’ve written.
